Interested in opening your garden ?

Pentyrch Open Gardens will be held on the 2nd and 3rd July 2016. We are currently looking for more gardens to add to this year’s event. If you are interested in opening your garden, please call Chris and Helen Edwards on 02920 891337 or Chris and Jeanette Troughton on 02920 891331 or alternatively send us an email to

One of the guiding principles of Pentyrch Open Gardens is that there is no competition. There are no judgements about which gardens are suitable and there are no “winners”. Any villager is welcome to join in and show off their pride and joy.

Our gardens vary from tiny bijou spaces to broad expanses with stunning views, from exotic jungle palms to manicured lawns with formal bedding schemes. There are productive vegetable gardens, traditional cottage gardens, family gardens; almost everything can be found somewhere in the gardens of Pentyrch. We love our gardens and want to share them with you.

The money raised goes to support Cardiff and Vale Macmillan and enhancing Pentyrch village.
